• Extract *.Zip file and install Samsung Odin
• Press “PDA” and click *.md5 or *.tar files for single ROM. or click both “boot loader” and “PDA”.
• After that disconnect the device.
• Now turn Android device off and change mode to “Download”. (You can change mode into download mode press and hold volume down, home and power buttons together)
• Now connect device to computer and wait till driver and ID: COM progress bars are filled.
• Finally Press “Start”.

Samsung Odin download troubleshooting and FAQ #

• Odin download supports only PIT and TAR extensions. It doesn’t support extension.
• Switch the device into Debugger Logging mode if your android device stuck with the logo screen and then run Odin tool again.
• If you get error messages while the installation process, “Failed”, “Odin is nonfunctional” then unplug and re – plug the device. After that change the mode into DL mode and unplug the device again. Re - plug again and then Odin download detects the device connected and click “Start”.
